Green Cabage and Bacion recipe



Sorry for the posting hiatus , with the move to the new place there has not been much free time.

Make this simple poor people’s dish as the perfect accompaniment to your protein.

Here is our very easy cabbage recipe that serves 4 – 6 hungry folks:

  • 2 large heads of white/green cabbage, washed. sliced and quartered
  • 1 very large onion, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 2 strong pinches of sea salt
  • fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 strip s of bacon

Fry up 6 strips of bacon until golden crispy, then add onions and caraway seed, salt and pepper. When onions and spices are glossy, add cabbage and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until semi-firm, but glossy – serve and totally enjoy this amazing side dish.

    Lunch: Cheddar (1 slice) burger, no bun with 1 onion ring on it.

    Dinner: 6oz grilled chicken breast, 1 slice mozzarella with tbsp marinara.

    Lunch: Pizza Bagel

    Snack: 1 slice pancake

    Snack: Half a sugar free apple turnover

    Breakfast: Cup of french vanilla coffee and a hostess pound cake.

    Lunch: 5oz grilled chicken with 1 honey mustard packet and a salad.

    Dinner: 8oz grilled chicken with mixed veggies NO butter.

    Breakfast: 2 eggwhites, 1 whole egg with 1 slice of cheese.

    Lunch: 6oz grilled chicken and a salad.

    Dinner: 8 oz skirt steak and a salad.

    dinner: 2 salmon patties, spinach, salsa and hot sauce. Down my throat hole.

    Lunch: one and a half wraps, with no wrap -- ham, turkey lettuce, tomato, honey mustard, onion

    Waldorf chicken salad on lettuce

    Dinner: salmon, mixed veggies, salad to start

    Bfast: coffee, apple

    Lunch: salad with veggies and chicken, balsamic vinnaigrete

    dinner: 5 glasses of wine, salmon, mixed veggies, shrimp cocktail, 2 pieces fried calamari, 1 crown royal on the rocks

  12. MUSTO: 2/25 -

    Ohhhhhh boy. FAILEO.

    Day started off wonderful:

    Bfast - handful of almonds

    Lunch: Awesome amazing salad -- roast beef, chicken, turkey, over bed of greens, peppers, banana peppers, pickles, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, no dressing

    Coffee - 2 of them, with some sort of shit, half and half

    Then....the night started....

    Pre workout: half of a grilled chicken

    Ran 1 and a half miles on the boardwalk (had to throw that in there) then did a beatdown WOD.

    Post workout: 3 glasses of crown royal on the rocks (80/20)

    Annnnnnnnd then it all went down hill.

    Dinner: Little bit of crab dip, (75/25) one crown and ginger, (70/30) handful of sweet potato fries (65/35)

    Grilled salmon...

    Another crown and ginger......(60/40)

    About 5 spoonfuls of chocolate cake with whipped cream (50/50)

    Post dinner bachelorette party: 2 vodka redbulls, one jager bomb (45/55)

    Post dinner bachelorette party workout: Two-stepping and crip-walking with 5 black guys in a 20-girl dance circle. AMRAP for "Hip-Hop Hooray," "H to the Izzo," "Straight Up," and "California Love" (50/50)

    Bar 2: Switched it back up to the crown and ginger, keeping it consistent in my steady decline, hazy at this point(45/55)

    Bar 3: Tequila shot (40/60) crown on the rocks (35/65)-- communication skills have devolved to nods and clumsy thumbs ups at this point

    Bar 4: Throwing a paleo vodka redbull back in the mix...new workout: pushups on the dance floor AMRAP until a security guard asks you to stop. Stop. Then switch to burpees, then get asked to leave. (35/65)

    Bar 5: One Red headed slut (30/70)

    - By some miracle make it to last call...then stumble the streets of Wilmington for a half hour looking for a non-existant "non-pussy" bar that's open later than the state mandated 2:30am.

    - Find a pizza place.

    - Walk with our entourage into the pizza place and proceed to spend 50 dollars in pizza related products.

    Fourth meal: Consume two slices of Faileo ranchero pizza with tomatoes, cheese, peperroni, and some mysterious ranch dressing, just for complete failure, dip the crusts in italian dressing.

    Technically this also counts as Saturday 2/26's bfast.

    Awake with nothing but boxers and a belly full of failure.
